Build Muscle and Burn Fat at the Same Time With the Right Plan

Diet is another very important factor.  Unlike someone who’s solely trying to bulk up, you’ll need to carefully balance your caloric intake with your protein needs.  For example, 1g of protein per pound of body weight is how much you need every day.  But instead of adding 200-500 calories to your diet every day, you need to cut back 200-500 calories.  Make sure you’re still eating enough to fuel your workouts, though.

Following these steps is very important when trying to build muscle and burn fat at the same time.  It can be done, however, and you can even start to see results within a few weeks.  Remember not to push yourself too hard to avoid injuries.
