Do You Know These Two “Fool-Proof” Easy Weight Loss Secrets?

Two things.

Just two simple things were the primary drivers that caused me to lose 30 pounds in 30 days.

On the surface they seem very basic. Just plain old weight loss principles that most have heard.

But I’d be willing to bet that in this information-overloaded world, packed with “experts” all giving you conflicting advice… most desperate “fat reduction seekers” haven’t consistently applied the two powerful secrets I’m going to share in this article.

Too bad.

Because the weight loss they can produce is both easy, and shocking.

I will lay them out for you here in a simple 1 – 2 format.

Do NOT take them lightly. They can quickly have you losing all the weight you want.

Weight Loss Secret # 1: Simplicity is king.

How many diets or other fat loss programs have you used in the past that have focused on eating a variety of different foods?

Dozens or meal plans containing long lists of possible food items that are supposed to help you lose weight. This seems to be the extent of most diets. They amount to nothing more than a list of “don’t eat this, don’t eat that”.

What I discovered years ago when I was struggling to lose weight was that my diet was awash in confusion.

Basically I was trying to eat a “variety” of different foods.

It was both overwhelming and a strain on my wallet.

I finally said “enough is enough” and I began to narrow my focus onto just a few different foods.

I would basically eat the same five or six foods each and every day. They made up the bulk of my diet.

Many pleasant things were a result of this.

- Less confusion

- Saved money

- Noticed improvements in my health (A basic diet has been shown to be healthier for you.)

- Faster weight loss

A few of the foods I chose were:

- Spinach

- Apples

- Peanut butter

- Lean steak, turkey, or chicken

- Broccoli

- Rice

Basically I would wake up every morning and have an apple with peanut butter, fallowed by ground turkey with rice.

Then for a snack I would eat a spinach salad.

For lunch I usually had a chicken breast with rice. (I would just pre-make it if I found I would be out of the house.)

Then for an afternoon snack I would eat another spinach salad. And for dinner I would usually have a lean cut of steak or turkey with broccoli.

My diet pretty much revolved around this very closely, each and every day… and I lost a lot of weight as a result. It also taught me a very amazing lesson… When it comes to weight loss, SIMPLICITY IS KING!

Secret # 2: Counting calories is a joke.

How silly is this idea of counting calories?

I have found very few diets or other weight loss methods that will ever tell you what I’m about to share.

Either they don’t know… or they love to make things complicated.

Most likely it’s a bit of both!

Can you imagine how much easier losing weight would be if you didn’t have to count calories?

The TRUTH is you don’t!

Here’s my reasoning:

If losing weight was a simple matter of eating the “right amount of calories”… then why are there so many overweight… ok, “fat” people out there who eat almost nothing?

And contrast that with all the people who are skinny, that eat a TON of food.

You probably know people on both sides of that spectrum.

If it was about getting the “right amount” of calories this wouldn’t be the case… Either you would be fat or skinny based on how much you ate.

But that’s NOT the way the world works.

You wanna know what I found?

Amount means nothing!

It’s the TYPE of calories that you consume.

2000 calories of the wrong food is not the same as 2000 calories of the right food. If you’re consuming the wrong TYPE of food… you’re going to have a difficult time losing weight.

If you’re consuming the right TYPE of food, you’re probably going to lose the weight.

It really is just that simple!

By TYPE I just mean whether the food was heavily processed or not. (Basically the difference between a chicken sandwich at a fast food joint… and one that has been made with only organic bread, and chicken.)

When you consume food that has been heavily process you’re getting a whole slew of harmful chemicals including: growth hormones, antibiotics, additives, preservatives and too many others to name.

Consuming these chemicals KILLS your metabolism and destroys your body’s natural hormonal balance, making you a “fat magnet”… as well as susceptible to all sorts of other health problems.

So along with secret #1, I simply made sure that the food I was consuming was organic – meaning grown with no pesticides or hormones and containing zero additives or preservatives.

I did all my shopping at a whole foods store.

Now I realize that this may be foreign to you, but I can tell you that the weight loss benefits (and health benefits) can be phenomenal.

I encourage you to give these two easy weight loss secrets a shot. At least for two weeks or so.
