FDA Warns of 25 Diet Pills That Use Illegal and Tainted Ingredients

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in a late December (2008) warning has been advising consumers to stop taking more than twenty five of the leading diet pills currently available over the counter and without a prescription because they are using harmful and dangerous, illegal and tainted ingredients that pose serious health risks to the consumer. Considering that the top US New Year resolution for 2009 is weight-loss, this FDA inquiry could not have come at a better time to protect eager consumers from damaging their health by taking illegal and dangerous diet pills to achieve their weight-loss goals.
